Hyatt Place combines a competitive self-park rate with the reliability of a major hotel brand — 24/7 front desk, camera surveillance, accessible parking, and a well-lit lot next to Allstate Arena. The shuttle runs on a fixed 40-minute schedule during the day and early evening, which means you can plan your airport arrival precisely. The trade-offs are real: no overnight shuttle, and the lot does not accept trucks or buses. For domestic travelers with daytime flights, the value is hard to beat.
Enter off Mannheim Road and park in the 20-minute area in front of the hotel to unload luggage. Go to the front desk in the main lobby with your reservation receipt and license plate number. You will receive a parking tag — hang it on your rearview mirror and park in the north lot next to Allstate Arena (do not park on Allstate Arena property — you will be towed). Allow an extra 20 minutes to park and 30–40 minutes for the shuttle ride.
The shuttle runs 5:00 AM–10:30 PM, every 40 minutes, seven days a week. There is no shuttle between 10:30 PM and 5:00 AM. Sign up for the shuttle at the front desk when you check in. Airlines recommend arriving at the airport 2 hours before your flight — plan to arrive at the lot before that window.
After baggage claim, go to the designated pickup location for your flight: Domestic — Terminal 2, Lower Level/Arrivals Door #2C (middle lane, limo/shuttle lane). International — Terminal 5, Door #5E. If your return falls outside 5:00 AM–10:30 PM, you will need to arrange alternate transportation — the shuttle does not operate overnight.
