Daniel Reyes has been writing about airport parking since 2020. He started on the operations side — three years managing ground transportation for a mid-size regional airport in the Northeast, where he learned how shuttle dispatch, lot security, and dynamic pricing actually work — before moving into editorial full-time in 2023.
He joined Long Term Airport Parking in 2024 to build the airport-level guides that anchor the site today. The comparison framework you see on every airport page — on-site official rates against vetted off-site lots, with verified shuttle frequency and vehicle restrictions — is his. It has been refined over 15 airports and is updated every 30 days.
Daniel lives in New Jersey and travels through JFK, LGA, and EWR often enough that he has opinions about which off-site lots actually deliver the shuttle times they advertise. He has personally walked the parking decks at DTW, BNA, IAD, DCA, and ROC; for the remaining airports, he verifies operations through direct calls to the lot managers and the airports' ground transportation offices.
Every rate on this site is checked against the airport's official website or the lot operator's own booking page. If a rate cannot be traced to a primary source, it is not published. When an airport changes its price, the affected pages are updated within 30 days.
These are the airport guides Daniel has written and currently maintains. Each compares official on-airport rates with vetted off-site lots and includes verified shuttle schedules, vehicle restrictions, and booking advice.
Beyond airport-specific guides, Daniel writes the long-form explainer on the homepage covering how long-term parking actually works — pricing dynamics, shuttle timing, and the questions most travelers forget to ask before they book.
He also maintains the Parking Directory, the master index of every lot covered on this site, organized alphabetically by airport.
